October 12, 1948 the divorce between Raymond and Anna Belle in Sebastian Co., Ar. is final.

Robert's 2nd wife was Madge Louisa Duncan of Harriman, Roane Co., Tenn. This information is from a family member. The marriage was thought to be in Tennessee but I found no record there or anywhere else. Madge Duncan Timms can be found living in Fort Smith, Ar. in the 1950s as Mrs. Madge Timms, and is mentioned as Mrs. Madge Timms of Fort Smith, Ar. in her fathers obituary from 1954. December 7, 1965 Robert and Madge Louise Timms have a daughter born in Bell, Texas, Nina Lou Timms.

September 14, 1968 Ray married Hazel Margarett Sanford at Roane Co, Tennessee, both being residents of Oak Ridge Anderson Co., Tenn. Ray's mother's maiden name is shown on the record. Hazel is still his wife at his death.

Raymond's marker says he served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Not much is found about his time in the service. His last rank was Sfc in the US Army.

Raymond Hamilton Timms passed away April 24, 2004 and was buried at Measles Cemetery in Lavaca, Sebatian Co., Ar. His last known residence was 1300 E Utah Ranch Rd, Lavaca, Sebastian Ar.

Raymond H. Timms, 80, of Lavaca died Saturday, April 24, 2004. He was born Feb. 18, 1924, in Buphus. He was a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Clasp with three Loops, Korean Service Medal, United States Service Medal and National Defense Medal. Graveside service with full military honors will be 3 p.m. today at Lavaca City Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Lavaca. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; three daughters, Della Pierce of Central City, Sandy Hancock of Van Buren and Nina Lessard of Los Angeles; two sons, Richard Sanford of Fort Smith and Mark Sanford of Lavaca; a sister, Mary Maness of Lavaca; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren Pallbearers will be military personnel.
