Marshall Page Thompson, Sr. was born January 31, 1906 in Arkansas to
William Quarles & Mary Malinda "Mollie"Abel Thompson.
January 16, 1932 Marshall married Mary Nell Cannon of Scranton,
Logan Co., Arkansas. The marriage was in Franklin Co., Ar.
October 16, 1940 Marshall registered for the military draft in Memphis,
Shelby Co., Tenn, He said he wore glasses and had false teeth.
He enlisted in the US Army March 4, 1943 at Ft. Oglethorpe Georgia. He states
he had completed 3 years of college and his occupation was Retail Manager.
Nothing more is known about his time in the service.
March 25, 1974 Marshall Page Thompson passed away in Ft. Smith, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. He was buried in Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith.
