Leo Theodore Sharum, Jr. was born 19 Sep 1918 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar. to Leo Theodore Sr & Mary Adeline Limberg Sharum. October 16, 1940 Leo registered for the military draft at the Senior High School in Ft. Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar. In 1940 Leo enlisted with the Army Air Force. On March 5, 19441Lt Leo Theodore Sharum, Jr. was the navagator on a bombing run when their plane was shot down and exploded with all the bombs on board and all were killed.
