Elmore Lee Scott was born March 24, 1913 in Altus, Franklin Co., At. to Robert "Bob" & Jessie Atwood Scott. April 27, 1940 Elmore married Gladys Mae Tomlin in Pittsburg, Oklahoma. Elmore and Gladys were both residents of Fort Smith at that time. Elmore registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co, Ar. He enlisted in the service March 29, 1944 and served until March 2, 1945. Nothing more is known about his time in the service. Elmore Lee Scott passed away November 16, 1975 in California and was buried at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Riverside, Riverside Co., California.
