His enistment date and his date of discharge are not found. He served in the US Army and attained a rank of Sgt. By 1951 he was residing at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Edward Ector Reyer passed away June 6, 2003 and was buried in Liberty Cemetery, Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
