1929 Fort Smith High School Collier L. Porter was born August 27, 1911 in Mulberry, Franklin Co., Ar. to Thomas Arthur & Mary Bertha Collier Porter. February 22, 1941 Collier married Mary Elizabeth Hudson, both being residents of Fort Smith Sebastian Co., Ar. Collier registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at the Junior High School in Ft. Smith, Ar. On July 12, 1942 at Little Rock he enlisted in the US Army, states he has completed 4 years of college and is a bookkeeper. Pvt. Porter was discharged May 24, 1946. No further informatiton is know about his time in the service Collier L. Porter passed away March 28, 1991 and is buried in Rose Lawn Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ar.
