Edgar Otho Parr was born February 26, 1926 in Amada, Crawford Co., Ar. to James Arthur & Josie Lillie Bridges Parr. December 14, 1944 Edgar married Faye Inez Telaar in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar., both being residents there. Edgar registered for the military draft June 30, 1944 at the Court House in Fort Smith, Ar. and enlisted in the US Army January 5, 1944. Nothing more is found about his time in the service. He was discharged June 10, 1944. Edgar Otho Parr passed away January 23, 1987 and is buried in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
