On December 27, 1941 Arthur married Helen Mae Bentley of Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Arthur was living at Fort Sill, Comanche, Oklahoma at that time. Arthur registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. on July 24, 1945. He states that he is a discharged veteran and his residence is Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army January 6, 1941 and states he has served in the National Guard. He had completed 4 years of high school and was a farm hand. Arthur Buel O'Neal, Jr.passed away May 23, 1996 at Eureka Springs, Carroll County, Arkansas. The burial was at Rest Hills Memorial Park. North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
