Alvin Eddie Null was born in Percy, Illinois in March 1921 to
Uwell Parker & Ernestine Augusta Sohn Null. On 19 Jan 1941 in Sebastian Co.,
Arkansas Eddie married Clara Mae Daniels.
On July 13, 1942 Eddie enlisted in the US Army Air Corp. SP 4 Null served on the
Tinian Isle. Tinian and Saipan Islands had been Japanese strongholds since the end of WWII.
Two tiny landing beaches, White 1 and White 2, were used at Tinian to land two entire
divisions. Each beach was slightly less than 200 feet wide. More information and picture of

Mr. Eddie Null, of Bonanza, Arkansas died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Greenwood, Arkansas.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired cabinet maker, and of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Null was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Clara Null.
He is survived by 1 daughter Sharon Bowers; 3 brothers, Tommy Null of Oklahoma City,
Bobby Null of Kansas City, and Ronnie Null of Del Rio, TX; eight grandchildren, twelve
great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Saturday morning, June 9, 2012, at the McConnell Funeral Home
Chapel with interment at the Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell
Funeral Home of Greenwood. Pallbearers were family members.
