"Press" & Willie Lee Rankin Meadows. The family was in Lavaca, Big Creek Twsp,
Sebastian Co., Ar. before 1920 was over.
Dale Bryant Meadows enlisted in the United States Merchant Marines.
Meadows had the rank of Merchant Seaman. His military occupation or specialty
was Oiler. He was attached to Merchant Ship Atlantic Sun.
On February 17, 1943 Merchant Seaman Meadows was declared dead after being lost at sea.
No other information could be found as to the reason. He has a grave marker at the Fort Smith
National Cemetery.
