Elkins Lovett was born June 27, 1917 in Booneville, Logan Co., Ar. to Barto and Eula Perry Lovett. On Sept 1, 1950 Elkins married Miltrelda Clopton Chappell in Sebastian County, Ar. October 16, 1940 Elkins regristered for the draft in Kern Co., Calif and Jan. 21, 1941 Elkins enlisted in the US Army at Los Angeles, Calif. On June 8, 1945 he was released from duty. In 1951 and 1957 Elkins can be found in the Fort Smith, Sebastian Co, Ar. phone books. On Feb. 2, 1974 Elkins Lovett passed away. He is buried in the Rose Lawn Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
