Charles Douglas Latsha was born September 11, 1915 at Greensood, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Charles Emmett & Bess D. Douglas Latshey. December 6, 1936 he married Dorothy Christine Stevens. October 16, 1940 Charles registered for the miliary draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. November 16, 1943 he enlisted in the US Army at Little Rcck, Arkanss. On his enlistment it stated that ihs civil occupation was Shipping and receiving clerk and that he had completed 2 years of high school. He served from December 7, 1943 to December 8, 1945. His rank was PFC. Nothing more is known about his service. Charles Douglas Latsha pased away June 18, 1990. Burial was in the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
