William "Bill" Green Lamb was born March 17, 1899 in Sebastian Co., Ar. to Andrew "Andy" G. & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Viola Griffin Lamb. On August 27, 1922 Bill married Hester Morgan from Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. They were married in Sebastian Co., Ar., Bill's home. Hester and Bill were divorced Dec. 31, 1941. Bill's second marriage was to Kathryn Been Dec, 1m 1945 in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. where they both lived. Bill and Kathryn were divorced May 22, 1954 in Sebastian Co., Ar. Bill registered for the military draft on Sept 12, 1918 at Greenwood, Sebastian Co, Ar. I didn't find anything that indicated he served in WWI. On Feb. 16, 1942 Bill again registered for the draft in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He states that he was living in Fort Smith at that time and was 42 years old. He enlisted in Little Rock, Ar. September 15, 1942. There is nothing more found about his service. William Green Lamb passed away Feb 1958 and is buried in Liberty Cemetery, Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
