Fredrick Richard Lamb was born July 15, 1915 at Helena in Phillips Co., Arkansas to Willis Alva & Cora Alice Kington Lamb. Oct. 16, 1940 Fred registrered for the WWII military draft at Belle Point in Fort Smith, Ar. He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps May 6, 1953 (another source says 1959) and was discharged March 31, 1963. He left the service as a M/Sgt. M/Sgt. Fred Lamb passed away August 26, 1997 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. and was buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
