Bobby Earl Keyes was born Sept 12, 1925 in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Anthony G. & Mae Lewis Keyes. September 23, 1947 Bobby of
Greenwood, Ar. married Nellie Ray Smith of Boonevill, Logan Co., Ar.
Their marriage was in Scott Co., Ar. Bobby's second wife was Velma Lucille Prince.
September 13, 1943 Bobby registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co.,
courthouse. He enlisted in the US Army November 17, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas. While
serving he was captured and became a POW. Pfc. Keyes was dischargd from
the service Nov 22, 1945.
March 8, 2002 Bobby Earls Keyes passed away at Greemwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. and is buried
in Liberty Cemetery at Greenwood.
