Eugene David Kendall was born February 7, 1911 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to John Clemmons & Alice Eugenia Rogers Kendall. July 3, 1941 he married Margaret Geraldine Postlewait at Fort Smith. October 16, 1940 Eugene registered for the military draft at Rogers School in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted with the US Army August 19, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas and served until October 29, 1945. His enlistment record says he has completed years of high school and his civil occuption is "Foremen, services amusements." His last rank was Tec 5. Eugene David Kendall passed away February 6, 1988 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. and is buried in the Fort Smith National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Ar.
