Fred Herbert Kelley 1912-1991

Fred Herbert Kelley was born August 26, 1912 in Arkansas to George Arthur &
Clara Harlo Robison Kelley, who passed away in 1914. August 25, 1945 Fred
married Dorothy Sharp in Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar., both being residents in that place.
October 16, 1940 Fred registered for the military draft at Tulare, California.
April 4, 1942 Fred enlisted in the US Army. He states he completed grammar school and his
occupation is Electricians. December 1944 he is found on an WWII Hospital
Admission Card stating he was treated for disease. The diagnoisis was "Bursitis, acute;
First Location: (1) Subacromial bursa or (2) Subacromial or subdeltoid bursa.
He was dismissed back to duty. (Subacromial-subdeltoid bursitis refers to the inflammation
of the subacromial-subdeltoid bursa and is a common cause of shoulder pain.)
He served in the US Army until October 14, 1945 and had the rank of TEC 5.
Note from his daughter Sue Kelley Orr: My dad was on a ship on his way to Pearl
Harbor. When he arrived they stationed him at Schofield Barracks, He worked in the
psychiatric ward,
Fred Herbert Kelley passed away June 3, 1991 at Hartford, Sebastian Co., Ar.
He is buried at Hartford Memorial Park in Hartford, Sebastian County, Ar.
