Charles Samuel Huffma was born 20 Nov 1925 in Sebastian County, Arkansas to Samuel Charles & Minnie Witcher Huffman. He was to be their only child. Charles filled out his Draft Registration Card when he was still a student at Mansfield High School in Sebastian Co., Ark. He was age 15. He joined the US Navy and became a Seaman 1st Class, S1c. There is little information about his Navy activities. S1c Huffman is found on the ship "Solace", a hospital ship. It appears that he is a patient there. There was no other information. The date was several weeks before his death.
