John Ezra Holland was born January 8, 1909 in Milltown, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Jessie Cleveland & Elizabeth Lizzie Hunt Holland.September 19, 1933 Ezra married Mary Elizabeth Black in Logan Co., Ar. Mary was living in Abbott, Sebastian Co., Ar and Ezra was in Barber, Logan Co., Ar. at that time. Ezra registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 in Paris, Logan Co., Ar. On November 17, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army. He served until November 21, 1945. His rank was Private. No other information about his time in the service was found. .John Ezra Holland passed away June 26, 1989 and is buried in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
