Photo submitted by Barbara Taylor Cheek Ned Seward Green was born June 22, 1910 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Arkansas to John William 'Bill' & Lucinda Elizabeth 'Betty' Seward Green. July 3, 1933 Ned married Reba K. Dooley in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. October 16, 1940 Ned registered for the military draft at Lavaca, Ar. I have not found an enlistment record for him or any other military records. He did serve as his draft registration card says "Hon Disc" on the top of it and he has a military marker at the cemetery that says he served in the US Army. Ned Seward Green passed away December 6, 1994 in the hospital at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. His burial was in Lavaca City Cemetery.
