Paul Kenneth Gooch was born March 27, 1921 along with his twin brother Haul at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to John Berry & Georgia May Smith Gooch. January 24, 1948 he married Wanda I. Little from Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. Paul registered for the military draft February 16, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army September 14, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas and served until September 17, 1951. His rank was SSG. He served in WWII as well as the Korean War. Paul Kenneth Gooch passed away January 11, 2001 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. His burial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith.
