Hall Keith Gooch was born March 27, 1921 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to John Berry & Georgia May Smith Gooch. March 14, 1947 he marrid Maryeruth Hill in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. After serving in the U S Marines during WWII from 1941 to 1945 Hall received a Honorable Discharge from the U S Marines 11/14/1945. On November 27, 1945 he again registered for the draft at Fort Smith Sebastian Co. Ar. April 1945 he is found on a Marine Muster Roll in San Franciso, California. "Footnote G" tells the Battalion and Regiment he will be serving with and the location. He was part of the Fifty Ninth Replacement Draft, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific, C.O Fleet Post Office, San Francisco, Calif. I have not found a discharge date from this service, Hall Keith Gooch passed away March 24, 2006 in Pulaski County, Ar. and was buried in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Ar.
