Edward Roy Girard was born Oct 7 1920 in Big Creek Twsp, Sebastian Co Arkansas to Edward T & Elsie Mae Ray Girard. On October 19, 1941 Ed married Helen Louise Welch, both residing in Big Creek Twsp. Sebastian Co., Ar. Sept 3, 1942 Ed enlisted in the US Army and served in the Air Force. He was discharged September 9, 1945 with the rank of Tsgt, US Air Force. Edward Roy Girard passed away July 25 1996 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. and was buried in Oak Valley Cemetery in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar.
