Wayne Odell Frye was born July 7, 1909 in Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. to Grant William & Florida Streeter Frye. On a military record he says he was born at Auburn, Greenwood, Ar. By the time he was 1 years old they had moved to Bates, Sebastian Co., Ar. April 20, 1947 Wayne married Anna Pearl Morgan of Hattisburg, Forrest, Ms. The marriage was in Franklin Co., Ar. Wayne registered for the miitary draft October 16, 1940 in Prairie, Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. He ennlisted in the US Army 26 Oct 1942 and served untill 7 Dec 1945. His rank was Tec 4. Wayne Odell Fry passed away July 6, 1996. His burial was in the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ar.
