Glenn Floyd was born April 24, 1918 at Eagle Township, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Earl Edgar Floyd & Ida Belle Burton Floyd. On Dec 11, 1940 Glenn enlisted in the Army Air Corps. He was stationed in Chatman Co., Georgia. A Hospital Admittance Card from Savannah Air Base Hospital, Chatam Co. Georgia for Sgt. Glenn Floyd dated June 1942 states he was injured in the line of duty, the cause being "Motor vehicle, cargo". Sgt. Floyd died 12 Jun 1942. Sgt. Floyd was buried in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
