Clifford C. Fisher was born Jan 17, 1921 in Muldrow, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma to Joe and Minnie Shamblin Fisher. The family moved to Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar before 1930. Clifford attended Fort Smith High School there. Clifford married Eva Mae Shelby Nov 2, 1945 in Sebastian Co., Ar. On January 6, 1941 Clifford enlisted in the US Army in the Field Artillery Branch. He had been in the National Guard previous to this. He continued to be in the Arkansas National Guard into the 1950s. Nothing more is known about his service. S/Sgt Clifford C. Fisher passed away on October 11, 1961 and is buried in Rose Lawn Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
