William Farr on the left & Loyd Stanfield on the right William "Bill" Aster Farr was born February 10, 1923 in Barber, Sebastian Co., Arkansas to John Robinson, Sr & Lucy May Williams Farr. April 11, 1948 he married Sylvia Ellen Norried from Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Bill was living in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. The marriage was in Logan Co., Ar. Bill registered for the military draft on June 20, 1942 in Sebastian Co. Ar. He enlisted with the US Army on March 8, 1943 and served until October 18, 1945. Nothing more has been found about his time in the service.
