Warren Daniel Fahrner was born Nov 12, 1920 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Godfrey John & Allie Belle Williams Fahrner. On September 6, 1946 he married Peggy Carlyn Matlock Nichols. at Fort Smith, Ar. After her death he married Sidney Maxine Minor Kamerling. Feb 16, 1942 Warren registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Ar. and on August 10, 1942 at Little Rock, Ar.Warren enlisted in the US Army. He served with the 447th, A Battery field artillery. He was stationed in Europe and was at Normandy and Battle of the Bulge. Warren Daniel Fahrner passed away Oct 19, 1991 at Fort Smith, Ar. He is buried at Oak Cemetery along with others of his family.
