Marvin Woodrow Duncan was born Dec 8, 1918 in Tallassee, Elmore Co., Ala. to Zeffie H. & Lillian Virginia Clark Duncan. Oct 16, 1940 Marvin registered for the draft in Elmore Co., Alabama. And on July 10, 1941 at Fort McClellan, Ala. he enlisted in the US Army as a Pvt. He was discharged from the Army as a 1st Sgt. His paper work shows 2 dates of enlistment and discharge. First one is 10 Jul 1941 - Aug 24, 1948 and the second is Nov 15, 1948 - to Nov 30, 1962. Pvt. Marvin Duncan served during WWI, Korean & vietnam Wars. After the War Marvin located in Fort Smith Sebastian Co., Ar. January 19, 1981 he passed away and was buried at the National Cemetry in Fort Smith, Ar.
