Leonard Alvia Dooly was born November 1909 in Lavaca, Sebastian County, Ar. to Ivan B. & Emma Ellen Main Dooly. March 21, 1926 Leonard, age 16, married Virgie Underwood age 15 from Yell County, Ar. On February 11, 1941 Leonard married Mildred Grace Toliver of Levy, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Leonard enlisted in the US Army April 7, 1944 and served until November 9, 1945. No other information is found on his service. Leonard Alvia Dooly passed away July 2, 1994 and is buried at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
