2Lt Lawrence Audrey Cormack was born in Eagle Twsp Sebastian Co. Arkansa on 18 Sep 1923 to Murrey & Dollie May Williams Cormack. By 1930 the family is living in Ft. Smith, Ar. where Lawrence graduated from Fort Smith High School. 2Lt Cormack's tour of duty began 18 Feb 1943. He died of non battle causes 19 Apr 1945 in Los Angeles, Ca. He is buried in the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
