Photo shared by Vicki Graves Jones William Coy Carson was born May 15, 1918 at Bloomer, Sebastian Co., Ar. to George Hamilton & Macklie D. Leone Webb Carson. June 4, 1939 Coy married Frances Kate Shumate Chitwood from Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. No military draft registration cards were found for Coy. He enlisted in the US Army November 16, 1942 and served until December 11, 1945. After the war he is found in the city directory of Fort Smith and Little Rock Arkansas. William Coy Carson passed away April 24, 1987 in Jackson, Hinds Co., Mississippi. He was buried at Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar in Garden of Memories Cemetery there.
