Photo Courtesy of his son James Hughes Bridges was born November 20, 1917 in South Sebastian Co., Ar to James Wesley & Lou Cresey Turner Bridges. January 8, 1939 James married Violet J. Morgan, both residing at Greenwood, Sebastian Co. Ar. James enlisted in the US Army January 12, 1945 at Camp Josepth T. Robinson in Little Rock, Arkansas. His discharge was dated December 9, 1945. Nothing more is found about his service. James Hughes Bridges passed away March 10, 1996 and is buried in the Washburn Cemetery in Sebastian Co., Ar.
