Maude died in 1929. In WWI he registered at Greenwood, Sebastian Co, Ar. on June 5, 1918. His wife Maude was listed as a contact. No release date was found. In 1940 Huel is listed on the 1940 census record in Fresno California as a Lodger. His occupation is "Miner". In WWII he registered for the draft in Miami, Ottawa Co. Oklahoma, giving his residence as Picher, Ottawa, Okla. On November 28, 1941 Huel enlisted in the US Army November 28, 1941 and was discharged March 4. 1942. Huel Ewby Bridges passed away in Greenwood, Sebastian Co. Ar. and was buried in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Ar.
