James Clinton "Cotton" Brewer was born Oct 12, 1926 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
James Van & Neva Eads Brewer. "Cotton" grew up in Lavaca, Ar. where he was
born. On 24 Dec 1948 Cotton married Mary Mildred Robison from Forester, Scott Co., Ar.
On Dec 18, 1945 James C. Brewer registered for the military draft in Sebastian Co., Ar. and
he enlisted in the US Navy on Oct 25, 1944. Nothing more is known about his time in the Navy.
Dec. 25, 1945 he was discharged from the service.
James Clinton Brewer passed away on Nov 24, 1997 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar, His
residence was Gans, Oklahoma. He was buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smoith, Ark.
