James Bynum Boyd was born Oct. 7, 1921 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to James Wade & Jessie Elizabeth Thornton Boyd. October 28, 1942 James married Nova Irene Weeks in Palm beach, Florida. James & Irene divorcd July 10, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They re-married August 23, 1947 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. James and Nova I Welks have a marriage July 19, 1976 in Muskogee, Okla. He was 54 and she was 56 yrs old. She used her maiden name. James enlisted in the US Army August 3, 1942. His service ended Jan 17, 1947. He reached the rank of Corporal. James Bynum Boyd passed awayMarch 23 1982 and was buried in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. The Palm Beach Post West Palm Beach, Fl. Oct 29, 1942
