Ralph Alexander Boatman was born August 29, 1912 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., to Alexander Commodore & Carrie Janette Carson Boatman. In 1939 he married Vivian Hermania Nobriga in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ralph enlisted in the US Army 11 Feb 1932. He served in WWII and Korean War. He attained the rank of Major before his retirement on 31 Dec 1957. Nothing more is found about his service. Ralph Alexander Boatman passed away March 16, 2000 and was buried in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas.
