Billy Been was born April 27, 1913 at Center Twsp, Sebastian Co.. Ar., Between Lavaca and Cornish Road. August 5, 1938, Billy living in Fort Smith, Ar. married Kathaleen Griffin of Panama, Leflore, Oklahoma. March 6, 1944 Billy, living in Bentonville, Arkansas married Rodna Bell of Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. November 14, 1944 they filed for divorce. Billy registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Bloomer, Sebastian Co., Ar. March 21, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army. Nothing more is found about his service. Billy passed away December 29, 1974 and buried in the Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Benton Co., Ar.
