Samuel White 1896 - 1935 Sam White was born March 17,1896 to Jefferson Davis & Betty Mason White at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. He married first Ethel Barber November 1, 1919 from Lavaca. His second marriage was to Lydia Belle Barber April 20, 1924 in Franklin Co., Ar. They were both residents of Lavaca, Ar. Sam enlisted in the military May 3, 1917 and served until June 25. 1919 with Unit 142 F,A., Company Btry E. as a Pvt. He passed away January 19, 1935. His burial was in Hickory Ridge Cemetery at Lavaca, Arkansas.
