Jesse Byrd Oliver 1894 - 1971 Jesse Byrd Oliver was born January 16, 1894 in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. to John J. & Amelia Ann McManess Oliver.(Another record gives her names as Vermelia A. Ginder}. June 16, 1918 he had a marriage license to marry Cora Maude Dot Lamb. Jesse registered for the military draft on Hune 5, 1917 at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Navy May 9, 1918 and served until December 14, 1918. Jesse passed away Novembeer 23, 1971 at Stratford, Garvin, Oklahoma. His burial was in McGee Cemetery there.
