Jasper Johnson "Jack" Martin 1893 - 1979 Jasper Johnson "Jack" Martin was born July 17, 1893 in Booneville, Logan Co., Arkansas to Jasper Johnson & Sarah Jane Voyles Martin. His first wife was Falbi Berry from Bloomer, Sebastian Co., Ar. She passed away in 1934. His second wife was Lillie Odie Gerre from Charleston, Franklin Co., Ar. Jack registered for the miitary draft in Bloomer January 5, 1917. He enlisted in the US Army December 14, 1917 and served until March 7, 1918. Nothing more is known about his service. Jack passed away October 29, 1979 in Porterville, Tulare County, California. His burial was in HIllcrest Cemetery there.
