Martin Phillip Head 1892 - 1918 Martin Phillip Head was born in Wagnor, Oklahoma in 1892 to Joseph Franklin & Susan "Susie" Paralee Poole Head. He married Anna Smith in Crawford Co., Ar. July 21, 1917. Their residence was Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma at that time. Martin registered for the military draft June 6, 1917 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. His enlistment date is not known. He served as a Pvt with Co. B 113 Ark Ammunition Train 38th Div. He left the states from New York, New York October 6, 1918 on the ship Lancashire for over seas. Martin died October 23, 1918 in England. His burial was there in Willow Grove Cemetery, Stockport, Cheshire, England. His final resting place was in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia 2 years later.
