Mark Hanna Cheek 1800 - 1953 Nark Hanna Cheek was born August 12, 1900 at Coal Hill, Arkansas to William M. & Narcissus Melbra Doss Cheek. November 3, 1924 he married Margaret Thompsonboth being residents of Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. The marriage was in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. They divorced March 5, 1934. His 2nd marriage was to Mrs Mary O. Dobbs Hart October 1, 1951 again in Van Buren Crawford Co., Arkansas. Mark served with Battery "C" 142d Field Artillery as a Private from August 225 1917 till June 26, 1919 Mark passed away May 24, 1953 in Jacksonville, Pulaski Co., Ar. His burial was in the Nathional Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
