Fay Winford Boozman, Sr. 1900 - 1954 Fay Winford Boozman, Sr. was born at Cameron, Le Flore Co., Oklahoma April 7, 1900 to James W. & Mary Jane Furnham Boozman. He married Thelma Patricia Furlong at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. March 23, 1920. Both being residents of Fort Smith at that time. Fay enlisted in the US Air Corps at Little Rock, Arkansas. He states he had completed 2 years of high school and his occupation was Fireman. His final rank with the Army Air Corps was S Sgt. Fay passed away October 6, 1954 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. HIs burial was in the National Cemetery there.
