Robert Eugene "Bob" Heiss 1929 - 1996 Bob Heiss was born November 18, 1929 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to John Albert & Mary J. Dunkerson Heiss. March 14, 1954 he married Betty Rose Lundgren. Bob enlisted in the Army February 20, 1950 and served until February 18, 1953. Nothing more is known about his time in the military. Bob passed away May 18, 1996 at Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. His burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
