George Henry Carnahan was born in Franklin County Ar. He was the second son of George Lafayette Carnahan and Mary Lucy Choate.
Mr. Carnahan owned a furniture store on 204 Towson Ave. Ft Smith, AR. In his apartment, at the rear of his furniture store, on Wednesday the 26th of July, George Henry Carnahan was shot and killed by his brother-in-law Lon Burton.
George was buried next to his mother at Oak Cemetery, Saturday the 29th by Fentress Mortuary. He was survived by his wife Sue Burton Carnahan, two brothers; William and Robert Paul and a sister Mrs. Eugene Ramey all of Gary Indiana.
