Emma Sue Brooks McCray inherited the house from her father‘s (John C. Brooks) third wife,
Narcissa McCray Brooks, who Emma took care of after her father died.
Emms'a daughter, Mildred, inherited the house from Emma Sue. Mildred was married
to Joe Skoczylas. He lived in the house with Mildred and their son, Michael,
but Joe did not own the house, Mildred did… After Joe passed away, Mildred
and Michael lived in the house for many years, but eventually moved out.
The property was eventually sold to the business next-door and was torn down
because it was in such bad shape.
It is not known if Narciaas bought the house or built it. (lr)
