Dr. Nicolas Spring was born April 18, 1809 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee to John Spring and Nancy Moore Spring.
Dr Spring was first married in 1841 to Virginia Ann Schoolfield in Pikeville, Bledsoe County, Tennessee.
From this union children were Nannie, Mary S. & Vrginia Cabell Spring. After Virginia Ann's death in 1845 he married c1850
Pauline Sutton in Crawford County, Arkansas. From this marriage came James, Bertha, Kate and May Pauline.
Dr Spring died in 1870 at Fort Smith Arkansas.
