Dr. J. S. Scoville

Dr. J. S. Scoville is first found on the 1880 census, age 57 in Fort Smith, Arkansas with wife Matilda age 35. Dr Scoville was born in Kentucky and wife Matilda was born in Virginia. They were not blessed with any children. note: There is a 9 year old step son, Jessie Moore, iving with them who was born in Arkansas and Matilda is his mother according to the census. They stayed in Fort Smith for a while and moved on to Hartshorn, Oklahoma and that was where he died in 1909. Matiila is found in Hartshorn in 1930.
