Dr. John Mason King was born January 8, 1866 in Franklin Co., Arkansa to James Vincent and Mary Elizabeth Garretson King. He married Mary Elizabeth Withers Apr 20 1892, daughter of Thomas Champe and Mary Ellen O'Neal Withers of Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. His Medical Education was from University of Louisville School of Medicine, Louisville, March 14, 1892. He recorded his license in Sebastian Co., Ar. October 27, 1896. He was a Mason, Woodman of the World, and a Methodist. Dr. King passed away Auugust 24, 1920 at Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Ar His burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, Ar. Mar 28, 1901 Ft. Smith News Record July 12, 1919 Southwest American
